I used to love going through these magazines as a kid and would get them for my kid now if we didn’t already have so much crap – but look what I just found – and ordered for Christmas!  The database is searchable with over 200,000 photos – plus there is an interactive mapping feature that pulls up the whole history of articles for that place etc. So Cool! I didn’t think I was such a geek – but I think that this might be very educational for the wee 6 year old and way better than!

I love the wack Mr. Rogers aspect of the first two and the nostalgia of the second two. And the feeling of looking at life through a View Master.

Tony Hafkenscheid. They are a great size too! Stunning in a few of my current projects!

I have been hooked on photographers lately. HERE is my latest crush. I think a series of these at a certain client’s vacation house would be great! You know who you are….

I clicked a random path through the NY Times to an article about Hong Kong’s Hollywood Road. Author, Christine Chow told of a shop that is all things Lomography and provided this link. As an obsessive voyeur of othe people’s family photos, I was thrilled to find another venue to scour. The “family” tag eventually brought me Here.
